Post PC broke
right well my pc cut out on me whilst in the middle of the highly power demanding vb.net programming. When i try to turn it on it goes on for about 0.5 second before turning off again hence probably a broken Psu. You would have thought 630watts would be enough to cover my goodies but guess not. So unless a miracle happens i'll be on my mac and old pc for a while.

Also probably means i cant do tomorrow night match then. anyway see you soon

Whats more annoying is the thought of shipping it back to them under warrenty, only for them to find out i've put some lighting inside etc (if i take them out you see the marks where they were). Oh well ;p

Silly question but.. did it start playing up since you put the lighting in?

Post Re: PC broke
I put lighting in and a new 120mm fan is all i did about 2 months ago and it kind of stopped when i slid the pc a few inches to the right which may indicate a loose cable but i've inspected all of the cables and seems fine. So its probably a dead PSU for some reason but theres loads of other reasons like the heatsink on cpu may be loose which means it wont start up, somethings dead on the motherboard, cpu fan wire is dodgy which also may stop the pc from running as a precaution. Oh well what i'll do is give the company i bought it from a ring tomorrow, and they'll either ask me to send it back (under warrenty) or may take me through some steps to solve it. I will probably ask them if I could try my friends new 650watt thermaltake psu and if that would void my warrenty etc because i'm guessing they'll want to avoid me sending it all the way back there if its something simple.

I shorted the psu from the motherboard and still failed to start properly so definate PSU is dead. Sending back for them to check it etc etc so i'll have pwnage pc again soon. Until then i'll most likely be able to train on thursday on my old pc but no matches i'm afraid as i crash when running xray or demo :(

Dead ram makes your cpu beep while booting to notify you of the problem.

i said i took the atx 24pin off the mobo and short started psu manualy and still did it which means it wasn't mobo/cpu/ram.
